This career major prepares students to design highly-interactive websites. Students develop web authoring and design skills through the application of authoring and scripting languages, while being immersed in basic elements of design, like, typography, color and information design. Students also develop a brand identity for a business, research marketing strategies and build customer relations skills through electronic marketing techniques. Students in this career major gain the technical skills required for the World Order of Webmasters Apprentice Web Designer certification.
