Server Administrator (Multiple Operating Systems)

Students in this career major learn to plan, install, configure, troubleshoot and upgrade network hardware peripherals and protocols and to keep a company’s network running efficiently. Students learn to install, configure, maintain and manage a server environment, perform desktop maintenance and provide support for users with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. Students gain the technical skills required for CompTIA A+, Network+ and Linux+, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Information Technology Professional (MCITP) certifications in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Server 2008.
