Residential Electricians Assistant

This career major is a foundational study in the design, equipment selection and the methods used to install electrical systems in residential buildings. Comprehensive training and classroom theory in the areas of physics and electrical concepts and hands-on learning in tools, equipment, electrical safety, blueprint reading and specifications, series circuits, parallel circuits and the basics of residential electrical are provided to the student.  They will install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including climate control, security and communications.
