This career major prepares students to become professional nail technicians as mandated by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology. 

Students train as manicurists or pedicurists, nail technicians, along with, working exclusively on nails and providing manicures, pedicures, coloring, and nail extensions to clients.  Toward the end of the major, students will work one-on-one with instructional staff to prepare to take the Cosmetologist Licensing Exam.
