Commercial HVAC Technician

This career major is an introduction to Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, exploring career opportunities in the three temperatures of refrigeration: Low Temperature, Medium Temperature, and High Temperature.  Students learn to test and service residential & light commercial HVAC system and how to test and service commercial walk-in and reach-in Coolers and Freezers. Also included; safety and work practices, protective equipment, pressurized fluids, hazardous substances, hand and power tools and servicing heating and refrigeration equipment, including measuring air flow.
