Choose from these Career Majors: 

Career Exploration Education (High School Only)

This career major allows high school students to explore a variety of occupations and get actual experience in the working world. Students select six internships from more than 200 work sites in the metro area and explore a variety of occupations through each job site career visit.  Students must provide their own transportation to job sites.

Upon completion of this CM you will gain:

  • First-hand experience and information to aid in career decision-making
  • Identified abilities, interests and aptitudes
  • ACT preparation
  • Fully developed resumes and career portfolios
  • Enhanced communication and presentation skills
  • CPR and First Aid
  • OSHA certification
  • Principle-centered leadership and responsible citizenship training
  • 40 hours of community volunteer projects
  • College and employment preparation
  • Life, Literacy & Financial skills
