The questions can seem endless for the new small business owner. We understand this, and can offer relief. Our Small Business Management (SBM) Program will help you recognize the importance of the business skills needed to start, and effectively operate your business.

Our Mission

The mission of the SBM program is to help you, the small business owner, remain focused on the strategic goals for your company and give you the technical skills and knowledge you’ll need to implement and achieve them.

Five Fundamental Areas

MNTC’s Business and Industry Services group has been working with companies in Cleveland County since 1980 to help them meet their human capital, business development, and consulting needs. There are five fundamental areas to our SBM Program:

  • Business Strategy - Focus on business-plan development and strategy execution through business coaching.
  • Market Planning - Find and penetrate new markets through effective market definition and understanding core business skills.
  • Financial Management
    • Gain access to funding and operational resources like the Small Business Administration, banks, and investors.
    • Focus on the loan application process, decision-making, Oklahoma taxes, and basic accounting practices.
  • Technology Integration
    • Organizational coaching aides in the alignment of your business goals and the use of technology.
    • This includes e-business strategy, wireless technology and network security.
  • Human Resource Management
    • Employee training you’ll need to meet your business goals and objectives through sound hiring and operational practices.

Two Pathways to Grow Your Business

Entrepreneur Program - $125

Six-month professional coaching program to get your business running. Unlimited phone and email access to a professional business coach, including face-to-face interaction as needed.

Develop businesses strengths in five areas:

  • Market Planning - How should I market my product, services or business?
  • Financial Management - How do I get a loan?
  • Human Resource Management - What are my training needs? Should I hire employees?
  • Technology Interaction - What software is the best for bookkeeping?
  • Business Strategy - Should I incorporate, or be a sole-proprietor?

Advanced Entrepreneur Program - $125

Six-months with a professional business coach. Unlimited phone and email access to your coach, along with face-to-face interaction as needed. Business goals become more defined in the five areas of focus:

  • Business Strategy - How do I develop a business mission and quantify goals?
  • Market Planning - How can I expand the marketing reach for my product/service?
  • Financial Management - How do I develop a business fiscal budget and make sound financial projections?
  • Human Resource Management - What training do I need to provide my employees by law, or for the efficiency of my business?
  • Technology Interaction - What technology can I integrate into my business to be competitive in my industry, and in small business?
